Than Shwe daughter said "I have been told not to go here and there just because of these guys(opposition). My father has no intention to meet her(Daw Aung San Suu Kyi). He promised my mum" That is what she told to her body guards when she was barred from going certain places in a foreign country. So people should not wait for meeting with Than Shwe and Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. He is just buying time. In addition, no decision in their quarterly meeting. Everything is decided in advance. Regional commanders just present their regions' development during that meeting. Thats all. Then just announce promotions etc. Not like what Burma's watcher said in News. Up to Maj-Gen level knows nothing about these decisions and never consult for any national politics during these meeting. Mainly monologue from Senior Gen. Next thing is they are very much afraid of UNSC and especially International Criminal Court. If you can do something to move in that directions, especially ICC. He is very much afraid of that. He once instructed U Thaung to do everything to avoid ICC. Khin Nyunt was just under house arrest because he keep all evidence of Depayin. I don't know where he keep photos.
