It is one of most tragic event in Burmese political history. It reminds me of assassination of Gen' AUng San and his colleagues...It reminds me that how much violent culture still dominates in solving the conflicts. He is great leader of freedom movement and he is key player in making allegiance between democratic movement and ethnic's freedom struggle. It is great loss for Burma and incompensable.Dr Naing Aung

Indeed he IS a great leader even now that he is gone, I think it is his way to bring UNITY among the groups and hopefully we can reach the freedom, recognition and peace Mr Mann Shar seeked in life.
A great loss to Burma in the physical, I am sure his teachings remain well carved as a guide to achive his goal, our goal... FREEDOM, INDEPENDANCE, DEMOCRACY FOR BURMA for ALL of us.
Thanks Mr Saya Mann Shar you will always be remembered.
