The world does not need permission from this illegitimate regime to help cyclone victims

"Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the ships, which carry 1,800 U.S. Marines, would be off the Myanmar coast in roughly five days.

Mullen emphasized that the U.S. military would not undertake humanitarian operations without Yangon's permission.

"It's sovereign air space and you'd need their permission to fly in that air space," Mullen said."

This is an illegitimate regime who robbed the power at gun point in 1990. They do not have the legal sovereignty. For that reason, the world does not have to wait for the permission from this regime to save thousands of lives. We, the people of Burma gives the world community permission to come and help us.

We are dying. Please come and help us.

I think US is surely prepared to help Burma, if the world and Burmese people agree. So no need for corrupt Burma government agree or not. They are just delaying any visas or entry by outside, just because it only needs 48 hours to finish up the sham voting. So, I am sure they will let it in after May 10. US is trying to do more than that. They have plan for after the storm in the political process of Burma. Hope this will sort things out favor to the people. This storm opens the true ugly face of government. Lot of problems will await them after this. This is the best time for us, though we all suffered and sorry for the loss of lives. May the force be with us and go through all the difficulties soon.

The Irrawaddy understands that two permanent members, Russia and China, which had opposed the French move on Wednesday, were joined by six developing countries inside the Security Council, as France again tried to garner support for its proposal.
South Africa, Indonesia, Vietnam, Panama, Libya and Costa Rica were the six other nations who sided with China and Russia. Although officials of these countries conceded that the humanitarian crisis in Burma was grave, the situation was deemed not to be a threat to regional or international peace and security. As such, the Security Council would not be the appropriate forum to have a discussion on the issue.

I dont understand this anymore. We all know Russia n China are the reasons why US re-considered air dropping aids.
What do these 6 countries got to do with it ? and Chinese telling everyone to be patient with the junta and to acknowledge that they are at least receiving aids? ??
