That time U Nay Win had Army.He want to change the system,thats why he created the 8888.When he proposed mulit party system at Htuttaw,decision was made by vote system.He didnt allow to vote.If he allowed ,his plan woould be loose.Thats why he talked to public directly Let"s make peoples decision whether they like one party system or mulit party.Why he didnt allow to do vote decision at Htutwa for one party or mulit party system?

U Nay Win is the founder,the father of socialist party.but after 26 years ,why he talked mulit party system.according to htuttaw rule,when U Nay Win proposed mulit party system at htutaw,they have to do vote decision.Why U Nay Win didnt do vote decision?That time nobody ask multi party system.We need to find out the true history.
According to the Win Tint Tun"s book "The Burma which is in dark"country had only about $30 million at 1997.U Nay Win got the problem how to run the country next.1987 ,october ,he talked "its time to change,give me davice.then country became LDC and his 20 years plan failed.
When country became LDc,U Nay Win didnt want to be responsible man.He ordered U Aung Gyi to spread the letters that all r cheating to U Nay Win,thats why country became LDC.he wanted to put U Aung Gyi on the stage and control behind.He said lets do the multi party system.thats what i think.
Do you think if formed government, Ne Win will just looking? I don't think.He will attack all, because all planing was he made.He planned to control all power,he was though he still would win, that why he allowed to 1990 election.After failed they changed all.Then how many of our people like to volunteer to die for our freedom, that is our weak point, one gun shot all are run, we are not dare to stand for another, Junta know all of this,One things is our society and religious not trust for suicide,that why our Junta can longer compare to other country.(this is my view only)
The misunderstanding of religion (Buddhism) is one of the biggest problem in Burma.
I agree with you, anonymous. Our religious is blocking people to sacrifice or suicide, every body afraid that if they died, what will be happened in next life. That is my view point.
