Than Shwe's grand scheme.
Than Shwe and family has moved to stay in the multi million dollar mansion that he has built in China along with his security detail. Kyaing Kyaing has converted most of the wealth into dollars or deposited into multiple accounts of some foreign countries.
They do that for two reasons.
If the current political instability gets worse, they are safe living in another country.
If not, Than Shwe will wait for an opportune time to assassinate the lady to create another waves of civil unrest and outrage. Then, he will use that as an excuse to bring the country back into the military rule.
