Sent to the Solitary Confinement
Yesterday, Ko Nyi Nyi Htun and other five political prisoners were sent to the military dog-cells (the solidarity confinement) where the tortures and severe punishment have been made by the authority, according to the sources. Ko Nyi Nyi Htun, Ko Nyan Lin Htun and other political prisoners have been staging a hunger strike calling for the end of the inhumane treatments, tortures and repressions in the prisons. Their other mission is to let the world know that the human rights situations in Burma are not better but worse under the new government.
