The floods started in Pegu, Burma yesterday. Due to the heavy rain and the releasing of the Zawnto dam security doors, the areas of the west and north of Pegu were flooded. The floods have caused the residents to flee the areas, and stay on the dam and at the monasteries now. The Buddhist abbot named Sayardaw U Kaitti and his people are donating the foods and necessities for the floods refugees now. Meantime, the floods continue.
