We are very much concerned that even US $300,000 stolen from DVB can now only reveal and who knows how many more dollars were wasted without the public knowledge.
Every organizations funded by the public money must have the credibility, accountability and transparency.
I am surprised that only board of the management just now inquiry about the theft and I am also not happy that they are pointing the fingers on the inside DVB network.
Because of which I could predict in advance that the results of the inquiry will be found nothing since Norway police will have difficulty to question WHO and HOW inside DVB's network of Burma.
Therefore, the story will be going no where since investigating DVB inside network is mission impossible!!!
Who steal $ 300, 000 from Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB) ???
DVB must answer.
If these money were used effectively and responsibility, then at least activists inside Burma could had been better condition now than before.
This really is a shame, shun and selfish abuse of money risking the lives of people inside Burma.
For our point of views as the vigilante activists -- not even a penny should be wasted.
According to the Burma today report, the DVB's corruptions had been happening since 2007????
It could be only tips of the ice-berg!!!
Due to the bad example of this, international supporters and donors will think twice before they donate for Burma and we must repair the damaged caused by this unfortunate event.
Recommendations:
DVB must report to the public thorough, in-depth and details finding after the investigation
DVB must show accountability, transparency and credibility in the wake of the US$300,000 scandal
DVB must take action decisively on those who are responsible
DVB must be more open, de-centralised and de-monopolised itself from top to bottom
DVB must be public friendly media to everyone since currently there are people complaining that DVB is monopolizing news by using the media as a tools
There have been widespread criticisms from the public for long time that DVB is just reporting the news from those organizations who had alliance with DVB. If it is turned out to be true then it must stop since it is not professional, not ethical and not helpful to the public

Some corrupted DVB guys stealing public money. Utmost betrayal is that some corrupted DVB guys also work as the military intelligence informers. We have the well founded reports claiming that some corrupted DVB guys giving information to Burma military regime to arrest anyone who don't get on well with corrupted DVB gangs. Shame on you corrupted liar DVB guys. You dare to steal money risking people's lives. I strongly believe that these DVB guys who are now in prisons might well be informed by corrupted DVB guys to military intelligence so as to imprison them so that you corrupted DVB guys can beg for more money showing that our Burma VJ are in the prisons so as to steal more money. Shame on you all. AAPP the same. They are the junta's informers. If they don't like political activists inside Burma they also tell MI to arrest them. BCUK+DVB+AAPP are the gangs. They are more worse than mafia gangs and more worse than junta. Their father is BCUK. Shame on you all gangsters beggars. Burma Campaign UK is the most corrupted of all in all areas such as morally to financially to politically. Zoya Phan is the Burmese hater and Mark Farmaner is Burma enslaver. Farmaner got the affairs with all the women working at BCUK. He is now living together with Zoya Phan and because of her -- Farmaner divorced his previous English wife. Actually he wanted to be a bigamy though. But his English wife rejected him while Zoya Phan is OK with bigamy. No one like them especially Burmese people apart from their gang members. Farmaner and Zoya Phan and BCUK team are always stabbing behind Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and NLD. Zoya Phan is actually a Thai citizen but she claimed asylum in UK which she is not entitled to since Thai cannot claim asylum in UK. Zoya Phan lied to UK government. The book she claimed she had written (shadow) is all about lies. BCUK put hundreds of thousands of dollars in their pocket (may be millions) especially after Saffron revolution and they are doing so until now. Shame on you all.
