Dear Friends of Burma,

Happy New Year!

We couldn't let this holiday season pass by without taking the time to thank you for all the wonderful support you've given us. We have received so many kind messages and suggestions in the past months, and we can't tell you how much your friendship means to us.

As we celebrate the holidays with our family and friends, we will be thinking about all our wonderful memories from the past year. We hope you'll take the time to remember all the things we accomplished together and all the lives we touched.

We know that we are forever changed because of the journey you and we shared. It goes without saying that we have a lot to look forward to in the coming year. Even in the midst of great challenges here at home and around the world, we know change is coming and there is reason to have hope for a brighter future.

“We Fight We Win” rapidly gained worldwide popularity in the Burmese community, with over 6 million readers.  There have been 2 million hits in the past year alone. Without the supports of our lovingly readers, it will not reach that level. We would like to say “thank you” to our readers before this year was passed.

In 2012, we hope to see a credible and inclusive political process, including the release of all of the country’s political prisoners and free press.

We look forward to an incredible new year filled with new opportunities for change in Burma and to continuing our inspiring work. We hope you'll join us and support the freedom of Burma. It is the spirit that has kept the Burmese Dream alive for generations, and it is that spirit that will keep it alive for generations to come.
