did not commit. On 8 June 2012, Dr. Tun Aung was asked by the Burmese authorities to aid the police in trying to stop violence starting due to the heightened ethnic tensions. Dr. Aung actively tried to calm an agitated crowd – only to be arrested later that week by the same authorities, and charged with inciting violence.
