ျမန္မာလူထုကိုကူညီ ေပးရန္ ေရာက္လာတဲ့ ျပင္သစ္ေရတပ္ က စစ္သေဘာၤ ( Le Mistral ) ျမန္မာ ့ကမ္းေျခနဲ ့ ၁၂ မိုင္ေလာက္အကြာကိုေရာက္လာတယ္။ လူသားခ်င္းစာနာတဲ့အကူညီေတြေပးဖို ့ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္နဲ ့ေရာက္လာတာလို ့ဆိုတယ္။ အဂၤလ္ိပ္စစ္သေဘာၤ HMS - Westminister - ကမ္ေျခနဲ ့ ၁၁ မိုင္အကြာထိမွာေနရာယူမယ္လို ့သိရတယ္။ အေမရိကန္ စစ္သေဘၤာ - USS- Essex- က ကမ္းေျခနဲ ့ မိုင္ ၆၀ ကြာမွာေနရာယူမယ္လို ့သိရတယ္။ နအဖက ေႏွာက္ယွက္လာရင္ တုန္ ့ျပန္တိုက္ခိုက္နိင္ေအာင္လို ့သိရတယ္။
က်ေနာ္တို ့လုပ္သင့္တာကေတာ့ ကုလသမဂအတြင္းေရးမႈး ဘန္ကီမြန္းျမန္မာျပည္ထဲအေရာက္မွာ ဆႏၵျပပြဲေတြကိုေဖၚထုတ္သင့္တယ္။ သံရံုးေတြေရွ ့မွာ အစာေပးပါ၊ ေရေပးပါ။ ေဆး၀ါးေပးပါဆိုတဲ့ေတာင္းဆိုခ်က္ေတြနဲ ့လႈပ္ရွားသင့္တယ္။

I listened carefully to the report posted on your site. However, contrary to your assertion that the ship is in Burmese territorial waters, the voice-over clearly stated that it wouldn't enter the hardest-hit region (or Rangoon for that matter)without permission from the Burmese authorities.
And there is no evidence whatsoever that the US/UK/French warships are readying themselves to thwart possible resistance by the Burmese military They clearly state that their mission is purely humanitarian. The situation as of now is not as dramatic as in your report.
We cannot say with any certainty that they will use any possible means, including military one, to deliver aid. This is contrary to what most people want to hear.
I believe one shouldn't give the people who have already suffered tremendous physical and psychological trauma, false hopes by giving them distorted information.
You are one of the original 88 leaders and as such, are expected to live up to people's expectations. You did an extremely courageous job 20 years ago. Now, don't let people, especially younger generations who don't know who you really are, ridicule you for misreporting and yellow journalism.
I, for one, would hate to see that happen.
