Good speech!! I think you will have more experience of giving different speeches in the future and develop your relationship with public, young activists and political experts residing in different countries.

Most parts of this speech are good.
It could be helpful if the speaker didn't compare Nehru and Deng Xioping with General Aung San and would be more logical if he didn't say that Bogyoke was more brilliant than these two leaders of Asia Superpowers.

It is not good to do such kind of excess praise to Bogyoke by referring only one book. These two leaders are much older than our young Bogyoke and could give great guidance and great leadership to their countries, walked and struggled together with their people to overcome many problems of their lands for moving forward. Bogyoke had never been in a way as they were to lead their country and it will not be meaningful to make such kind of comparison.

Even in his peak times,Aung San was not the No.1 political leader of Burma.Aung San himself defined Takin Soe as the No.1 political leader of Burma when he brought the Japanese army.He assumed himself only as the military leader at that time.Be aware that the US itself today had to think, balance and adopt great thinking concepts of communism for fighting unfairness and inequality in their system because we can't look down the concepts of Marxism by just seeing the corruption and failures of communist governments. We can't also say that the common wealth vision of Bogyoke was greater than the well-learned vision of Thakin Soe who was probably the best talented political scholar in Burma history.
We can't also say that the communist Burma can't become No.1 in Asia because we can comfortably see the world biggest communist China is now targeting no.2 economic power of global earth in near future.

Why Bogyoke could rise up to the top administration when British
came back was his flexibility (not so rigid like the communists)to work with the British in getting the independence. His promise to autonomy of ethnic groups (the Pyin Long treaty) engendered great antipathy towards him by nationalists like U Saw as the traitor of the union. If we carefully assess thinking of Bogyoke at that time, you would have a sense that he didn't want to continue to stay in politics any longer as tensions of disharmonies of Burma's leadership around him were very bittering. "After independence, I will leave politics and will earn my living by writing".

To cap, we don't have so many things to be proud in our history like India or China because we, the people, couldn't have found out yet a way of harmony. It is better to do the best for the present rather than having penitence and extols for our dishonorable past."I thought ten thousand swords must have leaped from their scabbards to avenge even a look that threatened her with insult. But the age of chivalry is gone." (Edmund Burke)
