အီရတ္တရားရုံးက လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ဆယ္စုႏွစ္က ရွီးရုိက္ ဘာသာ၀င္ေတြကုိ ရက္ရက္စက္စက္သတ္ၿဖတ္ခဲ့မႈနဲ႔ ပက္သက္ၿပီး အာဏာရွင္ ဆဒန္ဟူစိန္လက္ထပ္က ထိပ္တန္းတာ၀န္ရွိသူ သုံးဦးကုိ တနလာၤေန႔က ေသဒဏ္ အမိန္႔ခ်မွတ္ လုိက္ပါတယ္။ ဒီ သုံးဦးထဲမွာ ၁၉၈၀ ခုႏွစ္က ကဒ္လူမ်ိဳးေတြကုိ ဓာတုအဆိပ္ဗုံး ၾကဲ၍ အစုလုိက္ အၿပဳံလုိက္ သတ္ၿဖတ္ခဲ့ရာတြင္ အဓိကတာ၀န္ရွိသူႏွင့္ အမိန္႔ေပးခဲ့သူ “Chemical Ali” လုိ႔လူသိမ်ားတဲ့ ဟက္ဆန္ အဲလ္ မာဂ်စ္ (Hassan al-Majid) လည္းပါ ပါတယ္။ သူဟာ ဒီၿပစ္ဒဏ္နဲ႔ဆုိလ်င္ တတိယအၾကိမ္ ေၿမာက္ ေသဒဏ္ စီရင္ၿခင္းခံထားရသူၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။
တနလၤာေန႔က ခ်မွတ္ခဲ့တဲ့ၿပစ္ဒဏ္ ဟာ ၁၉၉၉ ခုႏွစ္က ရွီရုိက္ဘာသာေရးေခါင္းေဆာင္ အယာတုိလာ မုိဟာမတ္ အဲလ္ဆာဒါ ကုိ လုပ္ၾကံသတ္ၿဖတ္ခဲ့မႈအေပၚၿပစ္ဒဏ္ စီရင္ဆုံးၿဖတ္ခဲ့ၿခင္းၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဒီကိစၥနဲ႔ ပက္သက္ၿပီး ေထာက္လွမ္းေရးအၾကီးအကဲ တာ၀န္ ထမ္းေဆာင္ခဲ့သူတဦး နဲ႔ ဆဒမ္ရဲ႕ ဘတ္ပါတီ အၾကီးအကဲ တဦးကုိ ေသဒဏ္စီရင္ခ်က္ခ်မွတ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။

အာဏာရွင္ေတြဟာ မိမိတုိ႔ အာဏာရွိစဥ္မွာ အာဏာအလြဲသုံးစားလုပ္ၿပီး၊ အၿပစ္မဲ့ၿပည္သူေတြကုိ လူသားမဆန္စြာညွဥ္းပန္းႏွိပ္စက္ ၿပဳမႈခဲ့မႈေတြဟာ တေန႔ေန႔မွာ တရားမ်ွတမႈကုိ မလႊဲမေသြ ရင္ဆုိင္ ၾကရလိမ့္မယ္ဆုိတာ ေဖာ္ၿပေနတယ္။

We must stand up to hypocrites practising double standards by using human rights pretext to impose their will on others.
