You are right to say that our country has gone down for 50 years because of the junta. And the junta has done it successfully becuase of the gun power. In 1962 Burma was just a baby country , having only achieved independence for about 14 years. British first, then our own flash and blood junta, now China, etc. all rapped our beautiful country. Currently a lot of us live abroad for many reasons but it doesn't mean that we will just watch our fellow country people struggling to survive, living in poverty and fear. I don't care if other countries bothered to help us or not but it is our birth duty to at least support the 50 million people who are fighting for democracy in our beloved mother country. I have not managed to sleep or eat in peace since the day I learnt that the peaceful demonstrators were crashed down by the guns. CAN YOU ?

I am 22 years old ,working at ygn hospital .you just saw online about injuried people ,I am almost become a doctor and now volunteer at Myanmar red cross .so i know how our people feeling about and treating those people at that time.i do love to serve for my country (not for burmese gov)and my people,no matter how i poor or rich ,eventhought i involve with this situation and against the gov,for reason if I go to jail or dead I will not leave my country .now look at the popular politian from oversea, what are they really helping for people in 19years,they just rocking the boat when the waves are coming up ,so poor people got more sink,we can't save all 50 millions people at the same time .I do know that, how about muliti colors fighting groups from refugee camps and who living in border lines ,why they can't be unite until 19 years after, why Burmese gov can keep easy to messing with our people ,we can't bring democracy from oversea,we have to built ourself and fight with new own strategy in our soil ,so people who have leadership position are need to give some hope for future generation ,popularity political should be end now and if not we will cry or die
i will never cry or kneel infront of my enemy
so i chose 2nd option

No way. They have enough trouble in Iraq. US embassy relies on private security companies in Iraq, such as " Blackwater".This week TIME magazine described how they been messing up in Iraq. It's not realistic to hope US troop in Burma. Pls don't give a false hope to people from Burma. They are now having the strongest determination within 19 years. A false hope can deviate from the right path of the revolution.

Hi tt
Check this out
http://www.dvb.no/burmese/news.php?id=2683 and in case you can't get the internet connection where you are, it just said all the internet connections have been cut off by Junta, again! I don't intend to save all 50 million people of Burma but I do intend to find out who killed, tortured and raped the brave protesters. As a coward, who ran away from the country, the least I can do is to make a list of 'who done it' and I strongly believe that it will become extremely useful one day. Good luck with your study and also surfing ! By the way, any news about the International Red Cross getting into Burma ?
